    We are seeking a Tax Supervisor to join our Private Client Services team in our Boston office on a flexible hybrid basis.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Technical planning and advising of clients that include high-profile individuals/families, as well as their related entities (including C-Corp, S-Corp, Trusts, and Partnerships)
    • Work on engagement deliverables (such as tax returns, work papers, etc.); participate in technical and strategic reviews as a member of the engagement team to ensure quality control standards are met; ensure on time delivery and on budget
    • Prepare or review complex tax returns including partnerships, high net worth individuals, trusts, estates, and foundations
    • Own client work assigned for completion
    • Strategize with Managers regarding tax planning; Research tax issues and providing guidance to other staff assigned to engagement
    • Work closely with less-experienced staff, and assist management in mentoring, coaching, training, supervising, and evaluating staff
    • Foster a team environment; demonstrate support of management and decisions and build a positive culture
    • Communicating complex tax issues to non-tax professionals and clients.

    Job Qualifications

    • Bachelors Degree in Accounting
    • 4+ years of technical tax experience in public accounting
    • Strong experience with individual taxation (high net worth), trust, gift, and estate
    • CPA certification or EA is highly preferred
    • Researching tax issues to develop effective tax planning strategies
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
    • Ability to manage multiple high-level work simultaneously
    • Ability to translate complex data from a range of sources into client-ready insights and deliverables
    • Developed public accounting management experience

    Pay Range:

    The salary range for this position is included below. Individual salaries within this range do not include benefits and bonus potential, and are determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidates work experience, education, knowledge, skills, and geographic location.
