Multiple unit restaurant groups looking for an experienced kitchen leader looking to take the next step in their career in a growing restaurant group, to help run day-to-day kitchen operations at Prato 850 Gastropub located in the Mayfair Shopping Center in Commack Long Island. Prato 850 is a high-energy Wood Fired Pizza restaurant with an Italian-American vibrant menu.

Qualifications and Duties:

• Ideal candidate to have broad-based experience and the ability to assist in menu development.
• Maintaining clean and sanitary stations.
• Ability to work under high-pressure situations.
• Ultimately this individual must possess a strong passion for the hospitality industry and will be rewarded accordingly for his or her success.
• Room for growth in a successful restaurant group with multiple locations in Nassau and Suffolk counties.
• Organization and Inventory Management through weekly ordering and inventory controls.
• Hire, Train, Coach and Develop all BOH team members.
• Must be the bridge that connects the FOH to the BOH.

Requirements:

• Must be a hard worker and be able to handle high volume.
• Menu development knowledge.
• Inventory management.
• Maintain proper food cost.
• Computer literate.
