- Adjunct faculty function in the clinical and classroom settings and are expected to prepare course materials, provide support and guidance to students; report grades and uphold the policies of the Department of Nursing and The University of Scranton
- Current, valid unencumbered PA, NY, or NJ nursing license
- Current certification/recertification as certified registered nurse anesthetist (CRNA)
- Current member of AANA
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
- Doctoral degree in Nurse Anesthesia, Nursing, Education, or other higher education degree preferred but not required
- Graduate degree in Nurse Anesthesia specialty
- Experiences should include developing curricular materials and teaching nurse anesthesia students in both clinical and classroom settings
- Previous teaching experience in an academic nursing program or clinical setting preferred
- Two vs Three years current experience in clinical practice as nurse anesthetist
- Evidence of or potential for excellence in teaching, mentoring, and engaging diverse students
