    ~CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT (CNA) JOB SUMMARY
    ~5 North:

    Hospitalists General Medicine/Observation Unit is a very fast-paced environment seeing a wide range of patients, such as chest pain with possible interventional needs, outpatient surgical procedures requiring minimal post-operative monitoring, respiratory illnesses with low oxygen demand needs for general medicine patients.

    The medical management of our observation of patients is that all tests and procedures are completed within 24 hours, which is what creates such a fast-paced environment.

    The most enjoyable part of the job of caring for observation patients is that most patients are ambulatory and independent or with minimal assistance.

    CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT (CNA) JOB QUALIFICATIONS

    ~ Education/Training/Experience:

    ~High School Diploma or Equivalent; Patient Care Experience

    ~Completed at least sophomore year of a nursing program

    ~ Certified Nursing Assistant certification in good standing on the state Nurse Aide Registry, Certified Medical Assistant, or EMS. (​​​​​​​NON-EXEMPT HOURLY
