Description
The Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the ASC and duties cover center licensing and accreditation, planning, organizing, delegating, coordinating, staff utilization, budgeting, controlling and marketing the services provided by the facility.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Under the direction of the CEO, the Administrator will:
Manage the Surgical and Perioperative Services of the center
Direct AAAHC accreditation and regulatory compliance
Perform inventory management
Manage and maximize financial performance of center
Implement quality improvement measures
Adhere to risk management protocols
Conduct human resource functions (hiring, training, counseling etc.) for ASC adhering to our policies
Control of staffing requirements and productivity
Promote training and use excellent management techniques to increase retention of staff
Provide outstanding customer service and patient care at the ASC
Assist in patient care as needed
Assist in physician recruitment
JOB REQUIREMENTS
4 year degree Graduate of an accredited school with a degree in the health care industry
5+ years experience in the health care industry
2+ years in a supervisory or administrative capacity
1 year as an ASC Administrator preferred
Demonstrated success in meeting target objectives; ability to improve the Center's P&L outcome
Current BLS and ACLS certification
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Knowledge of reimbursement issues such as coding and managed care contracting.
Knowledge of AAAHC requirements and accreditation process
Excellent computer and organizational skills
Ability to multi-task is critical to this position
