JOBPURPOSE:

Certified Clinician responsiblefor the assessment, evaluation, and treatment of patients,specifically
those with acute and/or chronic wounds,ostomy management and education as well as managementof
fistulae, tubes, skin, and incontinence issues. Worksin conjunction with physicians, nursing staffand
ancillary staff to evaluate, propose, plan and performpatient assessment andtreatments.


Required Hours:
FT days Monday-Friday, with occasional weekend andholidaycommitments.

Qualifications:


MINIMUMEDUCATION REQUIRED:

Graduate of anaccredited school in the field of Nursing, Physical Therapy, orOccupational Therapy.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCEREQUIRED:

One year of clinical experiencerequired unless completion of an approved WoundCare/Ostomy
residencyprogram.

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATIONREQUIRED BY:

One of the followingcertifications active and in good standing with their respectiveboard:

CWS, CWCA,
CWOCN, CWON, CWCN, APTA.
BLScertification. Current licensure in the State of Georgia as aPhysical Therapist, Registered Nurse, or Occupational Therapist.
Must maintain CEUs as required by the state and certificationboard.

ADDITIONALQUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelors degree preferred.
Experience working in research, analysis of data, and editingcollateral
preferred.
