    About This Opportunity

    This Per Diem position is located in our Ambulatory Surgery Center in Cary, NC. As an ASC RN, you will work closely with physicians, other medical providers, and patients to provide expert care and service for fertility treatments.

    Your Key Responsibilities

    • Utilize advanced assessment skills to identify patient care problems and formulate plans of care.
    • Perform initial preoperative assessments, develop plans of care, and explain subsequent phases of surgery.
    • Provide comfort measures and psychological support to patients and their families.
    • Demonstrate proficiency in caring for patients who have received various types of anesthesia or conscious sedation.
    • Administer medications by direct intravenous and other routes as directed.
    • Provide patient education.

    What You'll Bring

    • Active RN license.
    • Current BLS and ACLS certification.
    • 2-3 years of clinical experience in Operating/Procedure Room or PACU experience strongly preferred.
    • Strong technical and clinical assessment skills.
    • Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer.
    • Ability to work independently and demonstrate good judgment.
    • Ability to communicate accurately and concisely.
