    Reports To:
    Director of QualityClassification: Salary - Exempt

    Position Summary:

    The Quality Engineer is responsible for shop floor root cause analysis and the implementation of corrective actions for process related issues.

    The position will assist the Quality Manager in maintaining the ISO quality system maintenance and continuous improvement programs.


    Essential Job Duties:
    Conduct root cause analysis when quality issues arise.
    Work proactively to implement corrective actions for process related issues.
    Assist with ISO quality system maintenance and continuous improvements.
    Work with departments to write new ISO procedures.
    Manage various quality projects.


    Required Education:
    Bachelors or Technical Engineer Degree

    Required Experience/Skills:
    3 years quality experience in a manufacturing environment.

    Proven ISO quality system knowledge and expertiseExperience in a machine shop, automotive or related industry (PPAP using APQP)Ability to read blueprints and comprehend technical specifications.

    Experience using a hands on approach to problem solving.

    Excellent computer skillsExcellent oral and written communication skillsDesired Experience/Skills:
