    AVP Development Lead: TRADE

    • Seeking AVP to lead development teams with trading domain expertise.
    • Candidate should possess 15+ years of experience and strong understanding of financial applications and client-facing development.
    • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and scaling for bulk trading.

    Location: Charlotte, NC (Ft. Mill, SC) - Hybrid

    Position Overview:

    We are looking for a highly skilled Development AVP who will be responsible for leading trade development teams, helping in architecting solutions, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in .NET, C#, and other Microsoft technologies, with a proven track record of successfully managing complex technical projects from conception to delivery as well as managing multiple development teams.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead a team of developers and provide technical guidance and mentorship.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, architects, and QA engineers, to design and deliver high-quality software solutions.
    • Architect and develop robust, scalable, and maintainable software applications using .NET and C# technologies.
    • Help design and implement cloud-based solutions, ensuring security, scalability, and performance.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and develop project plans.
    • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
    • Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in .NET, C#, and cloud, and apply them to the projects.
    • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely resolutions to meet project deadlines.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
    • Experience with Trade applications.
    • Must have experience with .Net/ AWS technology stack
    • Experience with Blaze and smaller 3rd party products for trade, so experience supporting those is also important.
    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in software development with a focus on .NET, C#, and other Microsoft technologies.
    • Strong AWS Experience.
    • Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
    • Experience leading and mentoring development teams.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
    • Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
