The School of Korean at Middlebury College is excited to announce openings for temporary Instructors of Korean for the upcoming summer 2024 session. The program will take place at the picturesque Middlebury College campus in Middlebury, Vermont, spanning 8 weeks from June 18 to August 17, 2024. This unique opportunity involves immersing yourself in Korean culture, teaching, dining, and interacting exclusively in Korean with students.

We are seeking applicants with experience in teaching Korean as a second language in a proficiency-oriented and intensive program. While not mandatory, expertise in teaching cultural modules like music, poetry, arts, calligraphy, dance, Samulnori, Taekwondo, or sports is preferred.

The ideal candidate will hold a Ph.D. (ABD or M.A. with strong credentials considered), DML, possess strong interpersonal skills, and have a proven track record of collaboration within instructional teams. Someone who is creative, dynamic, flexible, and open to innovative teaching methods and environments will thrive in the School of Korean.
