    Our client is a leading full-service law firm based in Cleveland, Ohio, renowned for its corporate platform. We are actively seeking an experienced Business Litigation and Corporate Generalist Attorney to join our dynamic and bustling practice.

    Role Overview:

    As an integral member of our team, you will serve as Outside General Counsel to privately held, family-owned companies, playing a pivotal role in safeguarding and fostering the growth of their businesses. You will handle a diverse array of legal matters, ranging from contractual disputes to trade secrets and securities fraud, in both federal and state courts.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Provide expert counsel and representation in business litigation, focusing on contractual issues, trade secrets, and securities fraud.

    Assist businesses in employment litigation, particularly in enforcing and defending against restrictive covenants, such as non-compete and non-solicitation agreements.

    Advocate for clients in seeking and defending against temporary restraining orders, preliminary injunctions, and other emergency relief measures.

    Offer strategic guidance on risk management issues and oversee claims handling processes for our esteemed clients.

    Engage in trial preparation and courtroom advocacy, while also exploring out-of-court resolutions through mediation and arbitration.

    Qualifications:

    Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.

    Admission to the Ohio State Bar (or eligibility for admission).

    Extensive experience in business litigation with a focus on contractual disputes, trade secrets, and securities fraud.

    Proven track record in employment litigation, including handling restrictive covenants.

    Strong advocacy skills with experience in seeking emergency relief measures.

    Ability to provide strategic advice on risk management and claims handling.

    Trial preparation and courtroom experience preferred.

    Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
