    Job Description

    Rubin and Rudman LLP, a mid-size law firm based in Boston, is in search of an associate to join their expanding litigation team. The ideal candidate should possess 3-5 years of experience in intricate commercial and business litigation, specific experience in bankruptcy court, active membership in MA, RI, and related federal Bars, along with a solid academic background and exceptional communication and writing skills.

    Desired candidates should be well-versed in legal research, discovery processes, third-party discovery, and drafting briefs. Preference will be given to candidates with previous law clerk roles, deposition and courtroom exposure, including bankruptcy court experience. Demonstrated ability to oversee all litigation phases with minimal partner guidance is a must. Prior second chair involvement is advantageous. An ideal candidate will have past experience at a regional or national law firm or a respected local firm.

    Qualifications:

    • 3-5 years of business litigation experience;
    • Bankruptcy court experience is essential;
    • J.D. degree and active membership in good standing with Massachusetts and Rhode Island and related federal Bars;
    • Strong writing, interpersonal, and analytical skills are mandatory;
    • Capable of thriving in a dynamic team environment, taking charge of tasks both independently and proactively.
