    Description

    Our successful and well-established client is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to join their growing team. In this role you will report directly to the Director of Process Engineering and will be a critical piece of the Operations Group. You will lead QA activities and technicians in providing verification of products compliance, ensuring operating standards are being maintained, and ensuring that our client is delivering the highest level of reliability and performance to their customers with their manufactured products. You will work closely with the Director of Process Engineering and Production Manager to implement testing /verification strategies and methodologies to engage with all stages of the manufacturing cycle.

    Responsibilities will include:


    • Collaborate with Production to create and implement testing strategies relevant to all stages of manufacturing to ensure completeness, correctness, and usability of final products.


    • Develop In-process Inspection and final product acceptance processes criteria.


    • Facilitate root cause/corrective action (RCCA) activities.


    • Perform internal QA audits for production lines.


    • Perform Supplier Audits / maintain Supplier Score Cards


    • Oversee return material authorization system and database.


    • Develop Quality Performance reports for production lines.


    • Oversee SPC data collection systems / database.

    Background profile:


    • 5-7 years of professional experience in a in a role focused on quality assurance and testing. Ideal person will have hands on experience in a manufacturing/assembly environment and with e/m integrated products. Regulated environment exposure helpful but not required.


    • Lean/Six Sigma experience desired. Experience with UL standards helpful


    • Should have experience in most of the following: In-process and final inspection procedures and execution, supplier auditing, internal auditing, SPC.


    • Bachelor's degree in E/M, mechanical, or industrial engineering desired.
