- Analyzes and manufactures intricate components using various machine tools.
- Proficient in setting up and operating machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, shapers, grinders, and Computer Numerical Control (CNC) equipment to craft parts to specifications.
- Ability to use precision measuring devices, layout work, and set up tool room machines to create or fabricate details and assemble as necessary.
- Conducts and documents maintenance activities.
- Schedules maintenance around production needs.
- Participates actively in TPM teams to enhance quality, safety, processes, material flow, and employee growth.
- Awareness of control-related hazards in a manufacturing setting (Electrical, Hydraulic, Pneumatic) to implement safe practices and procedures for a secure machine environment.
- Selects work-piece-holding devices effectively for manufacturing processes.
- Promotes proactive health and safety practices to contribute to a safe workplace.
- Displays expertise in manufacturing processes to drive continuous improvement.
- High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- Relevant work experience or specialized skills.
