Material Handler - Goodland, KS, United States - The Scoular Company

Description

The Material Handler will be responsible for the unloading, loading, and handling of inbound and outbound commodity product at the Goodland Crush facility.

This role will move, weigh, and load railcars and will load trucks with various finished products and by-products produced by the plant.

Material Handlers will complete required paperwork for each load.
Safely load and off load trucks and railcars at the facility.
Follow official sampling procedures set forth by Scoular.
Execute the official weighing of railcars and trucks as necessary.
Complete logs of daily loading and unloading.
Have knowledge of all processes in the facility.
Perform minor maintenance within the department.
Assure appropriate communications with peers, superiors, and customers.
Maintain plant safety, sanitation and work rules at all times.
Maintain accurate inventories.
Train other employees as required on process and safety operations to become proficient in all areas.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as required. About YouHigh School Diploma/GED required.
