    We have immediate openings for experienced Sales Coordinator. Must be able to work AM,PM and Night shifts with weekends and holidays.


    JOB PURPOSE:
    Reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing, Sales Manager and or the General Manager, you will be responsible for providing sales and administrative support to the Sales team to ensure the smooth operation of the department

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:


    Coordinating sales calls and client appointmentsPreparing quotes and contracts for clientsCoordinating site inspections as requiredMaintaining hotel and Sales & Marketing databasesConducting research and competitive analysis to compile reportsAssisting with Sales & Marketing projectsReports any unusual occurrences or requests to the manager or assistant manager.

    Understand that business demands sometimes make it necessary to move employees from their accustomed shift to other shifts.

    Work collaboratively with all departments to ensure proper group arrival, stay, and exitPoint of contact for non-direct calls into the executive office/sales.

    Direct calls and emails for leads to the appropriate sales and catering managersAttends property Staff meetings, and other property specific meetings as requested by the General Manager/Director of Sales/ManagementManagement and upkeep of the Master BEO binderPerform any other duties as and when assigned by managementQUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

    Essential:
    High School Graduate or equivalent work-related experience.1-year experience in similar position, preferably in the hospitality environment.

    A proven performer in a fast paced, high volume and challenging roleProfessional communication and interpersonal skillsExceptional organizational and time management skills to achieve tight deadlinesMeticulous attention to details with administration and data entry is essentialProficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office programs, particularly Outlook, Word and ExcelPrevious experience in a similar role within a hospitality office environment is preferredSound knowledge of Fosse, Delphi or STS catering and sales systems is idealExceptional grooming and personal brandingDisplay a competent level of computer literacy.

    Must possess initiative, excellent guest service and decision making skills.
    Ability to type at least 40 words per minute.
    Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations.
    Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
    Ability to work well under pressure coordinating multiple requests at any given time.
    Ability to work cohesively with other departments and co-workers as part of a team.
    Flexibility in schedule.
    Ability to schedule various services for individuals.
    Ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision.
    Ability to relay instructions and ask for help.
