    Purpose

    To lead, support, and develop the maintenance planning team and meet company and plant reliability goals and objectives.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Supports safety program through ensuring timely processing of safety work requests and providing quality job plans
    • Provides leadership to hourly planners and maintenance storeroom personnel
    • Drives continuous improvement of the workflow process by monitoring metrics, analyzing work order feedback, providing training, and interacting with technicians
    • Leads development, deployment, and continuous improvement of maintenance kitting and staging
    • Works with fellow maintenance supervisors to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of maintenance resources
    • Plan work orders as needed to manage backlog
    • Collaborates with Purchasing to identify opportunities for cost savings
    • Performs all duties in accordance with safety, quality and environmental rules & regulations
    • Performs other duties as necessary

    Required Qualifications
    • Five (5) or more years of maintenance planning/scheduling work experience
    • Ten (10) or more years of industrial maintenance experience
    • Proficient in the use of EAM or similar CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Software)
    • Experience with MS Word and MS Excel
    • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects to meet schedule and project requirements
    • Thorough knowledge of mill process and equipment or similar manufacturing process equipment
    • Good verbal, listening, and written communication skills
    • Excellent organizational skills
    • Strong interpersonal skills
    Preferred Qualifications
    • Prior supervisory experience
    • Journeyman Electrician or Millwright qualification
