    Description

    Job Overview:

    Saab, Inc. is searching for a dedicated Entry-Level IT Support Professional to join the team. If you are looking to kickstart your career in IT support, then this role might be perfect for you. Check out the responsibilities below:

    • Offering daily technical support to staff for workplace IT systems.
    • Setting up, arranging, and resolving issues with computers, workstations, and some network problems in a varied environment.
    • Maintaining data security and file system integrity in the workplace.
    • Explaining complex technical details to both technical and non-technical individuals.
    • Suggesting hardware and software solutions, including new purchases and updates.
    • Getting involved in IT and infrastructure projects.
    • Leading training programs to educate computer users on different applications.
    • Traveling between our Quincy, MA and Cranston, RI offices regularly.
    • Participating in an on-call schedule.
    • 10% overnight travel may be required.

    Compensation Range: $54,700-$64,300

    The provided salary range is an approximate figure. Saab, Inc. takes various factors into account when making an offer, such as the role, location, market conditions, as well as the candidate's experience, skills, and education.

    Requirements:

    • Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or similar field. A Bachelor's degree is a plus.
    • At least 2 years of relevant professional experience.
    • Familiarity with configuring and troubleshooting Windows computers in a business setting with Active Directory.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Basic knowledge of networks (TCP/IP, routing, VPN).
    • Great organizational and time management abilities.
    • Outstanding customer service and follow-up skills.

    Citizenship:

    Must be a U.S. citizen due to security clearance requirements.
