    Farm Bureau Financial Services is seeking a Business Relationship Consultant to be part of a high-performing, collaborative team within our Digital Solutions & Services IT department.

    The team is responsible for agent experience and customer experience applications, which includes websites, mobile, agent portals, Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, and other vendor solutions.

    This role is the liaison between IT and the business areas of Sales, Distribution, and Marketing.

    You will work alongside our business and IT leadership to gather and manage priorities and maintain a strategic business portfolio.

    Act as a liaison between the business and IT on strategic initiatives and projects.
    Help manage multiple business area portfolios and the applications/processes in support of those areas.
    Develop project charters, work with project sponsors to prioritize projects, and facilitate estimating with engineers and team members.
    Partner with IT leadership in gathering and reporting project and portfolio information and presenting it when requested.
    Assist with vendor management and procurement of new software and services.
    Provide escalation of IT issues and facilitate communication on general IT questions.
    Facilitate some project management activities, which may include managing a project or strategic initiative.

    Perform some business analysis and quality assurance activities, and coordinate and/or deliver training as needed for: new systems, system enhancements, new or changed procedures, and new or changed processes.

    Must possess excellent leadership, oral and written communication, planning, decision making, and negotiation skills.
    Strong interpersonal skills and be able to build effective relationships with business, IT, and external vendors.
    Proven ability to negotiate for competing resources and to generate consensus among multiple interrelated priority projects.+
    Must have the aptitude to learn both business and technical terms and processes.
    Experience in business analyst and/or project management frameworks, processes and tools preferred.
    Prior experience with agent-facing, customer-facing, CRM, and/or sales applications or exposure to user experience initiatives is a plus.
    Must have or attain knowledge of Farm Bureau Financial Services products, services, and strategies affecting the portfolio segment.
    Some travel may be required.
    Ability to read, write and speak the English language.
