    In this role you will:

    Be responsible for supervising and performing the Engineering team's daily duties to maintain the facility's functionality and safety in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. You will manage operations, maintenance and repair of our property, machinery and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

    Requirements to be successful:

  • Prior 2+ years supervisory experience in a Marriott hotel environment, luxury hotel is ideal but willing to train the right handyman looking to grow his career in the hospitality industry
  • Hotel brand experience is ideal
  • Previous experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, commercial kitchen and general building construction

  • Vocational training, certification and/or apprenticeship in one or more area; state certification or licensure where required
  • Licensed in a trade preferred (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, etc.)
  • Fire Safety Director License - preferred
