    The Windsor Court seeks a skilled bartender to join our team at the Polo Lounge.

    As a bartender, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of drinks, including but not limited to specialty, mixed, and espresso drinks.

    The selected candidate will set up the bar area according to The Windsor Court specifications and keep the bar stocked up.

    You will also be responsible for picking up necessary bar supplies, including but not limited to liquor and juices.


    Responsibilities:


    • Prepare and serve food and drink orders to guests in a timely and efficient manner
    • Ensure compliance with state and federal age requirements for serving alcoholic beverages
    • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including The Polo Lounge and surrounding areas
    • Follow all safety and sanitation procedures
    • Ensures tips are reported correctly for tax processing
    • Attempts to limit problems and liability related to customers' excessive drinking by taking steps such as discontinuing alcohol service and notifying management of potential problem(s).
    • Prepare a variety of drinks, including but not limited to specialty, mixed, and espresso drinks
    • Set up the bar area according to standards
    • Keep the bar stocked up with all the necessary supplies
    • Pick up necessary bar supplies, including but not limited to liquor and juices
    • Breakdown bar area according to hotel standards

    Requirements

    • Proven experience as a bartender
    • Knowledge of state and federal age requirements for serving alcoholic beverages, must complete LA Responsible Alcohol Service Training
    • Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks
    • Ability to keep the bar area clean, organized, and stocked
    • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
    • Strong communication and customer service skills
    • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
