    About the job:


    The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides administrative support and patient care in an atmosphere sensitive to each person's physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs under the direction of a Provider or RN.


    What you will do:

    • Provide exceptional front-line service, including: greeting and escorting patients, pre-screening tests and exam preparations, chart preparation/documentation, inventory and cleaning of patient rooms, appointment scheduling, and patient care
    • Measure and record vital signs, perform point of care and EKG testing, as ordered
    • Change dressings and remove sutures/staples
    • Prepare and administer medications (no IVs) under the written order of a Provider
    • Perform phlebotomy and obtain lab specimens
    • All other duties as assigned

    What we are looking for:

    • Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Practical Nursing
    • Licensure: Current license in good standing to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of Ohio
    • Certification: Current BLS/CPR and maintain current certification; IV certification preferred
    • Demonstrated abilities in clinical and administrative areas including: phlebotomy, office lab testing, patient care, injections, vitals, and EKG.
