    Position Specific ResponsibilitiesThe Technology Support Analyst position provides a full range of services necessary for the operation of College of Health Professions (CHP) computers and will primarily serve labs, patient serving clinics, as well as faculty and staff in assigned departments.

    This position will be a member of a fantastic team in theCHPDean's Office.

    Summary of ResponsibilitiesInstalls, configures, deploys and support systems, servers, software, and hardware to meet the needs of the department and department users.

    Provides technical support to department users.
    Essential FunctionsCollects and analyzes information from system users to formulate the scope and objectives of the system.

    Essential FunctionsCollects and analyzes information from system users to formulate the scope and objectives of the system.
    Writes system and programming specifications so that when the system is implemented it will meet user needs.
    Documents processes, coordinates with vendors, provides system recommendations as needed. May train staff on system usage.
    Provides problem recognition, research and resolution including recommending action(s) to resolve user inquires.

    Prepares and maintains technical documentation to guide system users and to assist with ongoing operation, maintenance, and development of the system.

    RequirementsMinimum Education60 hours of college coursework in related field by hire datePreferred EducationMinimum ExperienceTwo (2) years of experience in systems design and support or related fieldPreferred Experience

    Experience with wireless communication and troubleshooting
    Experience withTCP/IP
    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    Strong knowledge with computers, networking, and operating systems
    Strong technical skills on troubleshooting computer hardware, software, peripherals, and network diagnostic
    Strong customer service centered philosophy
    Strong communication skills including; verbal, written, and listening
