    TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGER

    Location:
    US-Remote- The ideal candidate would be Florida local.
    $90, ,000 a year salary range plus benefits


    Overview:


    The hiring company, located in Tamarac, Florida, is looking for a Technical Project Manager to grow in a diverse role with an organization that is expanding rapidly.

    This individual will be responsible for planning, managing, and driving the delivery of projects that provide exceptional business value to users.

    As a Technical Project manager you will help to organize, identify risks and effectively communicate both internally and externally.

    You will also work hand and hand with upper management to provide guidance on the scope and direction, ensuring projects are on schedule, and collaborate with other departments for support.


    Responsibilities:


    Lead and manage projects from conception through completion to ensure success as defined by adherence to standards of scope, budget, and timeline.

    Track project against plan, anticipate events which may require contingency plans, recommend corrective action, and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed.

    Produce accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout its life cycle.
    Determine resource involvement needed to complete the project and allocate resources as needed.

    Translate the high-level organizational objectives into definable project scopes while focusing on regular and timely delivery to internal and external stakeholders.

    Communicate effectively verbally and in writing, including conveying technical information to technical and non-technical users.
    Contribute to Controls roadmap and product backlog grooming.
    Define and manage the project management processes, implement best practices, and champion ongoing process improvement.
    Maintain documentation on knowledge base, project management processes and best practices.


    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
    3+ years of experience managing projects using formal project management disciplines and methodologies.
    Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and processes.
    Experienced in Agile project management methodologies and tools (agile, scrum, Kanban, waterfall, DevOps, Jira, Confluence)
    PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
    Experience managing projects involving both software and hardware in a cross-functional team is a plus.
    Self-motivated (willingness to suggest and implement new processes that improve team/company efficiency)
    Ability to multi-task (e.g. multiple projects and with team s

    that interrelate)
    Strong communication skills (both writing and speaking; lead team/project meetings; writing product/project documentation)
    Strong proficiency with Atlassian products such as Jira, Confluence
    Coordination with a lot of people with their own ideas who aren't necessarily very good communicators
