    Description

    Peoplelink Staffing Solutions, in partnership with a well-known automotive manufacturer in the Hopkinsville, KY area, are hiring Forklift Operators/Loaders. Previous forklift, clamp truck, pallet jack experience preferred, but will train if willing.

    Forklift Operator/Loader Summary:

    • $16 per hour and up
    • Shifts available:
      • 7:00am - 3:00pm Monday - Friday
      • 3:00pm - 11:00pm Monday - Friday
      • 11:00pm - 7:00am Monday - Friday
      • 7:00am - 7:00pm Two Days On Two Days Off
      • 7:00pm - 7:00am Two Days On Two Days Off
    • Full-time
    • Temporary to hire
    Forklift Operator/LoaderResponsibilities:
    • Forklift Operator/Loader is responsible for unloading and loading trucks and rail carts.
    • Forklift Operator/Loader will operate a forklift, clamp truck and pallet jack once trained and certified.
    • Forklift Operator /Loader manually restacks pallets of finished goods and WIP as needed.
    • Forklift Operator/Loader will accurately count finished goods and use scanners when needed.
    • Forklift Operator/Loader will safely and efficiently move pallets, WI P, finished goods, roll stock and corrugate throughout the plant and warehouse.
    • Forklift Operator/Loader will follow all health and safety protocols and procedures in the workplace warehouse environment.
    • Forklift Operator/Loader will empt y scrap containers and trash cans when necessary and make sure the trailers are swept and clean.
    • Forklift Operator/Loader work alongside associates regarding quality c ontrol concerns.
    Forklift Operator/Loader Requirements:
    • Must have prior forklift experience or be open to be trained.
    • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
    • Must be able to bend, twist, lift, walk, stand, squat for a majority of shift.
    • Must be able to bend and stack cases as well as operate equipment for 8-12 hours a day.
    • Must have good math skills and good communication skills written and verbal.
