Description

Spherion Staffing is looking for a full time Material Handler to work with a reputable industrial client. The Material Handler will efficiently and effectively process transactions and deliver products and parts to internal and external customers.
Perform numerous plant support duties as assigned.1st shift, Monday-Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pmPay $20/hourResponsibilities:

Stock and locate materials including bundled bar stock material
Cut bar stock material to specified lengths
Accurately complete computer transactions in support of material moves
Receive and ship product and parts
Move parts between production centers
Provide containers to production groups
Wash machined parts totes
Operate all power and hand equipment as required ??? includes forklift, overhead cranes, band saw, banding tooling, stretch wrapper, waste stream evaporator
Perform cycle counting
Keep records as required
Provide daily upkeep of forklift equipment
Report any/all safety hazards and dangers
Perform other duties as assignedWorking hours: 8:00 AM

Ability to become forklift operations qualified
Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy

Must be proficient with computer operation
