    We are a 38 bed Medical/SurgicalIntensive Care Unit. Staffed with Critical Care Intensivists/APPs24/7. Also included our staff mix are nurses, respiratorytherapists, and patient care technicians. We are nationally rankedfor caring some of the highest acuity patients.

    Abdominal OrganTransplantation- (Liver, kidneys, &pancreas)

    Targeted Temperature Management(hypothermia protocol) for post cardiac arrestpatients

    CRRT (continuous renal replacementtherapy)

    Hyperthermic IntraperitonealChemotherapy (HIPEC)

    Sepsis and multisystemorgan failure

    DIEP flap breastreconstruction

    Advanced Invasive &NonInvasive Hemodynamic Monitoring

    EKOSUltrasound AcceleratedThrombolysis

    RESPONSIBLE FOR:

    The staff nurse provides nursing care topatients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursingprocesses to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care forpatients.

    He/she functions within the framework of the policies andprocedures of the organization and demonstrates professional growthand accountability.

    The staff nurse is responsible for maintainingstandards of practice, coordinating patient care activities of allassigned staff in the provision of quality nursingcare.

    Qualifications:

    MINIMUMEDUCATION REQUIRED:


    Graduate of a nursingprogram

    MINIMUM EXPERIENCEREQUIRED:


    New Graduates of a nursing programeligible

    MINIMUMLICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:


    CurrentLicense in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLCMultistate License. BLS certification required.

    ADDITIONALQUALIFICATIONS:


    Advanced certification in fieldof specialty, if applicable. Bachelor's degree preferred. NursingExperience in Hospital Setting Preferred.
