Overview

Occupational Therapist (OT) - Part Time Position, 15-20 Hours Per Week

Opportunity at Ohman Family Living at Briar in Middlefield, OH - Continuing Care Rehab Community with various healthcare services nearby.
Competitive Hourly Rate $40-47 Based on Experience and Qualifying Interview.
Preferred Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, with potential for weekend shifts.

The Occupational Therapist plays a crucial role in assessing and treating residents to enhance their quality of life. You'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide top-notch Occupational Therapy services.

Responsibilities

Review resident information to guide assessment and treatment.
Conduct thorough assessments and develop personalized treatment plans.
Document treatment sessions and resident progress accurately.
Collaborate with team members and families to optimize resident's functional abilities.
Provide education and instructions to residents and caregivers on post-discharge care.
Stay updated on community resources and participate in team conferences.
Adhere to professional standards and regulatory guidelines.
Support quality improvement initiatives and provide input on staff performance.
Promote company services within the community.
Adhere to facility policies and safety protocols.
Perform other necessary duties to ensure quality resident care.
Understand reimbursement processes and allocate resources effectively.
Demonstrate knowledge of relevant regulations and guidelines.
Exhibit professionalism and uphold the company's commitment to compassionate care.
Maintain productivity levels as per facility standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor/Masters of Science degree in Occupational Therapy.
Valid state license/certification.
Experience with similar resident populations preferred.
Specialization certification if applicable.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to assess resident needs and develop comprehensive care plans.
Familiarity with accreditation standards and compliance requirements.
Physical abilities to perform job tasks safely.
