Inpatient Behavioral Health Unit
The Inpatient Behavioral Health Unit in Sanford consists of 2 units with a total of 40 beds.
Each locked unit provides a 24-hour treatment program designed to provide care for adults ages 18-95 in acute psychiatric crisis.
Our team of mental health professionals plan and work together with the patient to provide psychiatric care, medical treatment, support, referral for follow-up care, and opportunities for learning and emotional growth.

If you are currently licensed in New Hampshire, you do not need to change licensure NH applicants are welcome to apply and work using their current license.
Position Summary
The health care work force of the future should have the knowledge and skills to provide patient-centered, community-focused, cost-effective, clinically-effective, coordinated care.
To do these things successfully, the work force must be competent, flexible, and adaptive to changes in health care delivery and technology.
The Registered Nurse is responsible for performance of complex, individualized, family oriented nursing care in accordance with policies and procedures under the direct supervision of a charge/shift leader RN.
