    The RN Supervisor Weekends will be responsible for supervising charge nurses and other caregivers, ensuring that clinical systems and programs are functioning as intended, and overseeing the care of the facility's residents.

    Maintains appropriate nursing service objectives, goals, and standards of nursing practices consistent with licensure requirements and the Nurse Practice Act.

    Evaluates staffing pattern needed to meet the needs of the residents in conjunction with the Director of Nursing.
    Administers medication/treatments as prescribed.
    Maintains appropriate nursing service objectives, goals, and standards of nursing practices.

    Observing patients, charting, and reporting changes in patients' conditionsAnswering patients' calls and determining how to assist themProviding basic patient care or treatmentsWorking as part of a healthcare team to assess patient needs, plan and modify care, and implement interventionsReceive, transcribe, and implement physician's orders.

    Implements and evaluates care plans.
    Identifies/secures equipment supplies Directs/oversees subordinates.
    Participates in duty assignments.
    Organizes/coordinates subordinates, job tasks, and time allotments.
    Oversees/monitors function and activities of subordinate staff.
    Evaluate staff performance and institutes appropriate action discipline/training.
    Monitor's infection control compliance.
    Investigates/documents accidents/incidents.
    Other duties as assigned.


    RN Requirements:
    Current, valid licensure as a RN in Texas is requiredExperience in long-term healthcare preferredManagement/Supervisory experience requiredStrong communication and interpersonal skills needed
