    Description

    We are looking for a Preoperative and PACU Nurse to join our team at a Plastic Surgery Office in Atlanta, GA!

    Job Responsibilities:

    As a Pre-op/Post-op Nurse, your duties include:

    • Reviewing preoperative/postoperative physician orders to assess patient needs
    • Obtaining and reviewing patient medical history accurately
    • Assessing diagnostic data and collaborating with healthcare team for follow-up actions
    • Anticipating potential patient care problems and working with the team to address them
    • Assessing patient, family, or significant others' healthcare knowledge and practices
    • Performing preoperative diagnostic procedures and tests
    • Administering IV solutions and medications
    • Completing accurate admission/discharge information and data entry
    • Maintaining standards of recording and reporting

    Requirements:

    • Current State Registered Nurse license
    • BLS and ACLS certifications required
    • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
    • Minimum 4 years of Post Anesthesia nursing with critical care experience

    Other Information:

    • Shift: 4 days a week, 10-hour shifts
