We are seeking a new Cook/Line Cook to join our team. Your role will be to 1.Cooking and Food Preparation:
Efficiently cooking meats and preparing a selection of three side dishes daily, ensuring each dish is made to the diner's quality standards

Menu Planning:
Assisting in the development and execution of daily menus, including selecting ingredients that ensure freshness and quality. 3.
Kitchen Safety and Cleanliness:
Maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment by adhering to health and safety regulations and ensuring all equipment is properly sanitized

Inventory Management:
Monitoring kitchen supplies and food inventory and assisting with orders to ensure the kitchen is well-stocked without excessive waste
5
Team Collaboration:
Working closely with other kitchen staff and front-of-house to provide a seamless dining experience for customers.
This position requires someone who is not only skilled in traditional cooking techniques but also able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and communicate effectively with team members.
As a member of the Back of House department, you will work with Servers and report to our Line Cook.
What You Will Do:

Meal Preparation:
Cooking a selection of meats and three side dishes, ensuring each item is cooked to the diner's standards of quality and taste

Quality Control:
Checking ingredients for freshness and quality, and ensuring that every dish meets the diner's standards before it reaches the customer

Menu Execution:
Following the diner's menu plans, often contributing to the creation of daily specials based on available ingredients

Kitchen Efficiency:
Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen workspace to ensure efficiency during food preparation and cooking
5
Inventory Management:
Keeping track of kitchen supplies and food items, helping to order new stock as needed, and managing storage to prevent waste.
These duties require a mix of culinary skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
