Your ResponsibilitiesProvide technical expertise, guidance, and leadership in laboratory testing and equipment sizing for sedimentation and filtration processes. Expected to assist with testing, training, development, and analyses of designs, processes, or procedures.Act as a technical advisor for a variety of solid/liquid separation equipment so that technical process issues are handled correctly and efficiently in line with customer requirements and objectives.
Prepare, perform, and report on laboratory and pilot scale testing programs to determine optimum equipment type, sizing, and operating parameters.
Carry out process audits, plant visits, customer meetings, and support commissioning efforts.Read and interpret process-flow diagrams, piping and instrumentation diagrams, arrangement drawings, and specifications.
Manage multiple projects in a team environment.
Present and publish technical papers and articles.
Travel up to 40%.What you BringBS Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Mineral Processing, or related degree.
Five (5) years of related mining or chemical experience with solid/liquid separation experience preferred.
Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions. Skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards.
Ability to communicate effectively orally and written.
