- Identify Prospects and make sales calls
- Negotiate with established and developing customers to secure profitable rates
- Close sales opportunities
- Manage daily shipments activities and ensure superior customer service
- Develop and maintain carrier relationships.
- Maintain up to date knowledge of market trends
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Logistics, freight brokerage, or customer service experience preferred
- Strong work-ethic, growth-minded and self-starter.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and have strong computer skills.
- Base + commission paid monthly
