- Lead and inspire multidisciplinary surgical teams across the Main OR, PACU, Day Surgery, and GI suites, fostering accountability, engagement, and professional growth.
- Oversee daily operations of 11 ORs with an average monthly volume of 500+ cases (and climbing), ensuring efficiency, safety, and exceptional patient outcomes.
- Drive key performance indicators including first case on-time starts, turnover times, utilization, and workforce stability.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop high-performing clinical teams while strengthening specialty growth areas, including cardiovascular services.
- Manage department budgets, productivity metrics, and resource allocation with a strong understanding of reimbursement and value-based purchasing.
- Promote a culture of quality, regulatory excellence, and evidence-based practice across all surgical services.
- Partner closely with surgeons, executive leadership, and department heads to align strategy, improve workflows, and enhance the patient and physician experience.
- Create an environment where innovation, accountability, and professional pride thrive.
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program; BSN required.
- Master's degree (MSN, MHA, MBA, or related field) preferred.
- Active RN license in good standing (state or compact).
- Minimum 3–5 years of clinical experience in a relevant acute care setting.
- At least 2 years of healthcare leadership experience (Charge RN or emerging leaders encouraged to apply).
- Management-level experience within an OR setting strongly preferred.
- BLS certification required.
