- Assist individuals in a 1:1 setting as you support them in pursuing a happy, physically active, healthy, and more independent life.
- Provide skill development in areas including but not limited to: community participation, health, safety and wellness, household management and adaptive skills.
- Attend team meetings, write progress reports, and assist supervisors in maintaining consistency in service provision and communication with support team members.
- Create lasting, positive impacts on peoples' lives through coaching, mentoring, and encouraging others to reach their goals.
- Part-time schedules available.
- Associates in relevant field OR two years equivalent experience in working with mental illness or traumatic brain injuries, as determined by the supervisor
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or GED
- Adept in the use of technology and possess a smart device with adequate data
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Possess a reliable vehicle to transport residents as needed
- Current personal auto liability insurance

Job DescriptionThis is a position that provides in-community and in-home support that focus on the skill development a person needs to maintain and/or increase their independence. Staff will work with multiple person-served and will need a reliable vehicle to drive to and from shifts and be able to transport our person-served.
This position specifically works with our Wounded Warrior program and will be working with veterans in need of services.
