    The Role

    This is a 10-week program from June 10th through August 15th.

    Working hours: Monday-Thursday, 9:00 AM through 5:00 PM EST

    Hybrid schedule: Must be capable to work on-site 2-3 days per week at the National Campus in Orlando FL.

    Hourly rate: $35.00

    We are seeking a graduate student to support our Section Partnership team. In this role you would act as an in-house consultant supporting any ongoing client projects, working with key stakeholders across USTA Sections, and helping develop best practices for our Section Partnership department. You'll analyze key data, learn about our strategy and operations, and collaborate with USTA staff to provide insights and recommendations on where/how we can pursue our mission to grow the game of tennis.

    TEAM (who you'll work with):

    The USTA is made up of 17 individual sections, each representing distinct geographic locations throughout the U.S. and all working to support players and promote the growth of the game across the country. The Section Partnership department is a dedicated consulting support team that works with Section Chief Executive Officers/Executive Directors and their staff to help develop and achieve Section specific goals and objectives.

    SKILLS (what you bring):

    -Strong analytical and problem solving skills

    -Excellent communication skills and keen understanding of collaborating in a decentralized org structure

    -Ability to comfortably and confidently present to senior-level audiences

    -Experience with BI tools for data analytics and analyzing complex sets of data to identify key insights

    -Management consulting experience is highly desired

    -Intellectually curious, with high standards for both personal and organizational results

    -Experience with Agile development methodology in analytics and business intelligence applications

    -Strong qualitative and quantitative analysis, with ability to keenly identify and diplomatically articulate both challenges and opportunities

    -Experience within the tennis industry, sporting teams/leagues/NGBs, and/or grassroots advocacy organizations is preferred but not required
