    Technical / Functional Skills:

    TheServiceNow Configuration Management Analyst is part of the Service Asset andConfiguration Management (SACM) Team.

    This individual will focus on the overallquality of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) by ensuringConfiguration Items (CIs) are accurate and complete by policing processadherence and data quality against documented standards.

    The ServiceNow Configuration Management Analystis responsible for ensuring governance of CI data against SACM policies andprocedures. This includes promoting awareness and education of SACM policiesand procedures throughout the organization and its Service Providers.

    TheServiceNow Configuration Management Analyst will ensure interfaces withinternal and external applications are designed and implemented in line withthe CMDB Data Model.


    Roles and Responsibilities:

    • Accountable for the daily operational health of SACM Configurationprocesses.
    • Responsible for CMDB data analysis, research, troubleshooting,data enrichment and other CMDB governance tasks.
    • Accountable for ensuring that SACM Configuration Management isdelivered in line with defined policies and procedures.
    • Leads inv estigation of root cause analysis to continuously improvedata accuracy.
    • Manage the SACM Configuration relationship with data owners andconsumers.
    • Identify, analyze, and drive resolution of process or data issues,ensuring all Configuration Items (CIs) are complete.
    • Strengthen and mature ITSM CSDM (Common Services Data Model)practices and hierarchies.
    • Engage with stakeholders to implement or enhance integrationinterfaces with other applications that leverage or provide CMDB data (e.g.,Discovery, OEM/internal data sources, AMDB/hardware asset logistics, SoftwareAsset Management).
    • Nurture and strengthen alignment with shared SACM processstakeholders including shared/related data (e.g., Discovery, Asset Management),those who engage with or manage other data inputs (e.g., Service Catalogforms/workflows, Business Analys ts, ITSM Developers) or other ITSM processowners (Change, Incident, Problem).
