We believe in empowering your future What You'll Do:In the role of DC Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for assisting the DC Manager in overseeing all production operations related to the physical distribution of specialty wire and cable products; ensuring the security and efficient operation of loading, unloading and inventory tracking; supervising and training DC associates dedicated to processing orders effectively and efficiently in a 5S model
Primary Responsibilities:
Processing daily orders to ensure 100% customer satisfaction.
This hands-on job will require you to manage multiple priorities throughout the day in the areas of order assignment, processing, quality, receiving, inventory management, cycle counting, inventory exceptions, inventory space utilization, customer returns, loading and unloading trucks, operating forklifts, operating wire and cable cutting machines, and other warehouse material handling equipment (MHE).
Supervises daily function of DC associates assigned to the production cutting lines to include work assignments and job responsibilities. Assists with employee training and development and ensures adherence of Safety Standards and SOPs.Work closely with the other DC Supervisors and Leads to ensure all customer orders requirements are met in a timely manner and meet all specifications in terms of product type and quantity.
Coordinates orders in the distribution center; assists DC manager in determining and/or enforcing priority codes for timely shipping of orders; checks orders for accuracy.
Support DC Manager with non-order related work (facilities management, safety, security, equipment maintenance, Inventory control, etc.).Fill role of specific production area when volume dictates.
Open/close facility as needed.Position will require you to be "On Call" as needed for emergencies orders.
What You'll Need:
5-8 years' experience in a distribution center / warehouse environment leading a team of 10-15 associates or greater.
Must be comfortable in a production environment where sense of urgency is high and the ability to deploy people and resources in pursuit of goals is imperative.
Must be self-starter with a "continuous improvement" mindset.Must thrive in a "lead by example" environment with ability to handle conflict with empathy, compassion, adaptability, confidence, and positivity.
Must have strong communication skills and comfortable giving direction to both sales and distribution staff.Ability to communicate successfully with multiple levels of the company.
Prior use of RF technology/computerized Warehouse Management Systems required.
Intermediate computer skills/proficiencies (i.e., email, word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software, etc.). Must be authorized to work in the US, be a minimum of 18 years of age.
Bonus:
Knowledge of specialty and basic wire and cable products.
Experience with Wire and cable cutting/rolling machines, Cable jacks, Cable pulling eye compressors, Various saws and cutting tools.
Military training and/or experience.
Bilingual.

What You'll Need:
