    5/10/2024Grain Valley Schools has an opening for a Computer Lab Paraprofessional for the 2024/2025 school year. Candidates must possess a general knowledge of basic teaching methods and techniques, ability to establish effective working relationships with staff and students to work as part of a team, and the ability to organize, set priorities and work effectively in an educational setting.

    Description:
    • Work with students on various digital media and technology to enhance their learning, extend their communication and sharing, and display their knowledge
    • Assist teachers, students, and administrators for the purpose of identifying and utilizing technology for the classroom and/or class assignments.
    • Utilize research based best practices and model 21st century learning skills when teaching students.
    • Research and support the implementation of best practices related to technology use in the school program based on state/national standards.
    Requirements:
    • Candidates must have a minimum 60 college hours.
    • This position reports to the Building Principal and works with Grades Kindergarten through 5.
    • This is a 9-month, non-exempt position and is benefits-eligible.
