    Job Title: Lead Respiratory Therapist

    About the Role

    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Overland Park Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our respiratory therapy department, you will be responsible for supervising staff therapists, orienting new employees, and providing patient care as needed.

    Responsibilities

    • Making shift assignments
    • Performing performance appraisals
    • Supervising the work of staff therapists
    • Orienting new employees
    • Providing patient care as needed

    Qualifications

    • Associates or Bachelors in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program
    • Must hold a current Respiratory Therapist license from Missouri Board for Respiratory Care and NBRC RRT credential
    • American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification required within 30 days of hire
    • American Heart Association or American Red Cross ACLS and NRP within 6 months of hire
    • A minimum of two years of Respiratory Care experience
    • One year of recent supervisory experience preferred

We are Johnson County's only Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and Level II Trauma Center. We have an Accredited Stroke and Chest Pain Center.
