- Develops, oversees and coordinates the cost/schedule/technical aspects of ongoing engineering projects within the program guidelines set by the Program Manager and customer.
- Reviews status of engineering projects and budgets, manages schedules, and prepares status reports.
- Assesses engineering issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer-satisfaction goals and objectives.
- Identifies, tracks, mitigates, manages, and dispositions program-level risks.
- Estimate resource and material needs for the project/product.
- Provides the coordination between resource managers/supervisors and ensures all necessary reviews and approvals are received.
- Provides the coordination between technical and supply chain teams to ensure all necessary material and subcontracts are received when needed.
- Participate and lead on small to medium size teams and perform a wide variety of tasks.
- Bachelor's Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 6 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
- Experience with Earned Value Management (EVMS).
- Experience with project engineering and program execution and managing multi-discipline programs across multiple locations.
- Experience in hardware/software integration programs.
- Experience managing projects with budgets of $40M+
- Experience with Technical Supplier Management, Risk and Opportunity Management.
- Experience with reflector/antenna space design programs and activities, or e xperience with developing a ground architecture (hardware/software/comm/etc), that will support satellite communications and collection.
- Active TS/SCI security clearance required.
- STEM or engineering degrees preferred.
- Experience leading Government Contract development programs.
- Experience with Government contract acquisition lifecycle.
- Experience with management of design to cost activities.
- Experience with program pursuit and proposal activities.
- Experience in Root Cause Corrective Action process and techniques.
