We are seeking a Senior Associate to join our Fee Strategy team. In this crucial role, you will play a key part in helping PIMCO uphold its competitive advantage by creating and implementing effective pricing models aligned with our product and market strategies. Collaborating closely with the Product Strategy and Account Management teams, you will assess, develop, and adjust pricing proposals for various investment products to meet client needs and further PIMCO's strategic goals. This position offers you the opportunity to utilize your in-depth knowledge of investment management fees, pricing models, and regulatory standards to enhance PIMCO's pricing framework, ensuring competitiveness and compliance in our fee policies.

Responsibilities

The main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Collaborating with stakeholders to create and implement effective fee policies aligned with PIMCO's strategic objectives.
• Participating in benchmarking activities with Fee Strategists to evaluate fee competitiveness and compliance, contributing to strategic projects that assess revenue impacts and provide actionable recommendations.
• Fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation within the team to achieve collective goals.
• Staying updated on industry trends and regulatory changes affecting fee structures, meticulously recording and analyzing fee requests and outcomes.
• Working closely with Fee Strategists to address complex pricing challenges through analytical methods, gaining a deep understanding of PIMCO's investment strategies and market position.
• Assisting in internal presentations, enhancing pricing capabilities through leading process improvements and technology-focused projects.
• Contributing to data collection and analysis for pricing experiments, offering insights to guide pricing decisions.

Position Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Economics, Finance, or related field required. CFA designation or enrollment in the CFA program preferred.
• Minimum five years of relevant experience in financial services, asset management, or management consulting, with a focus on product pricing and/or fee strategy.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills essential, including proficiency in statistical modeling and Microsoft Office suite.
• Outstanding communication skills to engage with various stakeholders effectively.
• Strategic thinker with a track record of data-driven decision-making.
• Knowledge of PIMCO-specific applications (CM Portal, PAM, Perform) beneficial for internal candidates.
