Job Title: Nursing Operational Assistant

Welcome to our company! We are currently looking for a Nursing Operational Assistant to join our team under the general guidance of the Director of Nursing Services (DCNS). Your main responsibility will be to provide daily operational support to the nursing units. You will be tasked with developing strategies to effectively manage staffing concerns, creating and upkeeping schedules for Woodridge Nursing units, as well as other clinical and non-clinical tasks as needed. Additionally, you will handle payroll duties for assigned units. Effective interpersonal and communication skills are crucial for engaging with staff members at all levels, residents, and visitors while ensuring a high level of confidentiality and offering support to the team. An LNA license is a mandatory requirement for this role.

Education Requirements:

• Current LNA license to practice professional nursing in the State of Vermont
• Minimum age of 18 years
• BLS-Healthcare Provider certification required within six months of employment and to be maintained thereafter
• Preferred Associate's degree in secretarial science or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently
• Proficiency in Kronos, When to Work (W2W), and Office software is desirable

Experience:

Three years of relevant experience in a similar role is necessary.
