    UF Health Central Florida, previously known as Central Florida Health and acquired by the University of Florida Health in January 2020, is a distinguished, locally owned not-for-profit healthcare system. It stands as the largest provider of healthcare services in the region, offering top-notch care to patients in Lake, Sumter, and Marion counties.

    Responsibilities:
    • Collaborating with healthcare team members
    • Reviewing and following up on reports
    • Prescribing medications
    • Referring patients to specialists
    • Managing medical programs
    • Coordinating patient care activities
    • Participating in health promotion programs
    • Engaging in peer review and quality assurance
    • Assisting in updating protocols

    Expected Salary:
    Commensurate with experience and education

    Minimum Requirements:
    Medical license in accordance with Chapter 458, Florida Statutes plus four years of relevant experience. Completion of a residency program can substitute for the experience.

    Preferred Qualifications:
    Specialty License or Certification; Board certified or Board Eligible in Specified Area of Medical Specialty; Certification/Licensure in the state of Florida and Federal DEA Certification
