- Conduct initial assessments and evaluations of clients to determine their strengths, current stressors, needs and areas for growth
- Develop personalized and collaborative treatment plans
- Provide individual, family and/or group counseling sessions
- Administer evidence-based therapeutic interventions to address client concerns and mental health issues.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including progress notes and treatment plans.
- Foster a positive therapeutic relationship with clients to promote trust and effective communication
- Serve as an advocate and accountability for clients
- Monitor client progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans
- Consult and collaborate with other team members, including physicians, case managers, therapists, and support staff.
- Communicate effectively with clients' families and external healthcare providers when necessary.
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards in the field of mental health.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including client confidentiality.
- Strive to center your well-being and personal care so that you can show up and serve clients from a centered and grounded place
- Stay current with the latest research and best practices in the field
- Pursue ongoing training and education to maintain licensure and improve clinical skills
- Have 1 year of experience and training in treating trauma (PTSD), mood disorders (depression, anxiety, bipolar)
- Be willing to nurture a safe space for clients navigating LGBTQIA concerns
- Required to hold a valid and current Missouri (MO) state license as a (LPC, LMFT and LCSW, ect)
- Has a strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic interventions and assessment tools.
- Have excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills
- Be committed to client-centered care and maintaining high ethical standards
- Have the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Position Summary: Provide virtual outpatient psychiatric evaluation and medication management services at Wellness Beyond the Chair (WBTC).
