    Description

    The CNC Machinist is responsible for carrying out various manufacturing procedures and handling numerous aspects of the work independently. If technical problems or errors occur, the Team Leader has to be contacted.

    Main Tasks

    • Able to run a DMC 85 multiaxis mill or similar
    • Able to read blueprints, make offset changes, setup and run parts to completion. All holding tight tolerances.
    • Compliance with supply lead times and standard times
    • Making sure the orders are complete
    • Safe and certified operation of industrial equipment as needed
    • Removal and collection of parts
    • Compliance with the health and safety, environmental regulations and standards as well as adhering to quality control regulations
    • Operating the machine and tools based on the applicable process, operation, control, and safety instructions. All work is carried out in accordance with the designated techniques, taking into account the required productivity levels and the set quality standards
    • Initiation of improvements within one's own area of responsibility. This includes identifying misalignment in protocol and resources, giving feedback on manufacturability and reproducibility of machines and communicating any faults or deficiencies to the Team Leader.
    • Collaboration with outside departments when needed
    • Participate in other work activities adhering to the Team Leader's instructions
