    Location Description:
    The award-winning, 480-acre Saddlebrook Resort has made a name for itself as a premier meeting and vacation destination, as well as one of the nations preeminent athletic training facilities. Purposely planned as a car-free Walking Village, the resort setting allows guests to easily walk everywhere, surrounded by lagoons and cypress trees. Families and groups visiting our upscale hotel near Tampa, Florida, may choose from 495 rooms and suites with a total of 800 bedrooms, clustered around nine serene courtyards complete with gardens, stone benches, stone paver walkways and native Florida landscaping. Exceptional restaurants and lounges, two golf courses, multiple tennis courts and more complete our offerings.

    Overview:

    What you will have an opportunity to do:

    Front Desk Supervisors play an integral role in ensuring that each of our customers have an exceptional experience. This role is responsible for positive guest interactions while interacting with guests in a friendly and efficient manner, supporting and stepping in to assist agents in challenging situations, providing guidance and encouragement. They must also be knowledgeable on providing guest room information, resort information, special events happening at the resort and the area to guests at all times. Front Desk Supervisors have an active role supporting our Front Office Manager with day-to-day operations, along with other Front Office leaders and team members.

    Your Role:

    • Help guests discover their Wanderlust experience
    • Assist the Front Office Manager with day-to-day operations.
    • Guide and train Front Desk Agents.
    • Provide exceptional customer service by being engaging and taking sincere interest
    • Check guests in, ensuring proper credit is received, special requests are noted and fulfilled, and accurate information is established.
    • Help to resolve problems and WOW guests through recovery when things arent quite right
    • Promote and sell special hotel programs.
    • Interact with hotel/resort staff in a professional manner, assisting other departments with necessary information.
    • Be knowledgeable of all emergency procedures and policies.
    • Maintain house bank.
    • Communicate all pertinent information to manager on duty.
    • Follow set procedures on posting, charges, cashing checks, safe deposits, and refunds.
    • Assist other departments as needed.

    Your Environment: Well lit, temperature controlled, indoor lobby setting. Standing behind a high desk on hard surface flooring.

    Qualifications:

    What are we looking for?

    The right person will be show excellent customer service skills, must be passionate about service and should thoroughly enjoy creating excellent experiences for our customers. The ideal candidate will also have a friendly, outgoing disposition and previous experience in the customer service field.

    In addition, the right candidate match should have or be able to:

    • Must be available to work a flexible schedule to include nights, weekends and holidays
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Previous hotel or resort experience preferred
    • Previous supervisory experience preferred
    • A strong desire to make an impact on other people
    • An outgoing and engaging personality
    • Computer skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced setting
    • Ability to stand for the duration of the shift
