- Perform functions necessary to execute a Directorate-wide safety and occupational health program.
- Review, perform, and follow up on feeder reports of injuries and property damages.
- Prepare progress reports of safety programs and activities.
- Collect, analyze, summarize and disseminate data on accident experience of the Directorate.
- Conduct investigations of serious accidents and hazardous work conditions/procedures.
- Conduct detailed program surveys.
