    Schedule


    Night shifts are from 7 PM to 7 AM, with options for 36 or 48 hours per week. Candidates are required to work at least one weekend shift per week or two weekend shifts every other weekend, as well as one holiday during the contract period.

    Job Description


    We are seeking an experienced Med/Tele Registered Nurse (RN) for a night shift position on the West 6 Med/Tele unit. This unit has 40 beds and requires flexibility based on the facility's scheduling needs. Candidates must be willing to float to other units if necessary and may be asked to take on charge responsibilities.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide high-quality patient care in an acute medical and telemetry setting.
    • Perform nursing duties including assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
    • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
    • Participate in patient education and discharge planning.
    • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EPIC charting system.

    Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

    • Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in acute medical-surgical/telemetry nursing.
    • 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates.
    • Active New York RN license.
    • Current NIH and AHA BLS certifications.
